why does the 6 slot cd player in my car always skip slot 2?
It plays fine. It just will not load a cd in slot 2. Would a cleaning help, or is this a mechanical problem?

It's a smart player and you keep putting a rap cd in the second slot.

I would take it in!! Slot 2 may have slipped so there fore it will not load a disc in to it!! That is actually a common problem with multi disc players!!

those always break down. many moving parts in a small space. is it still under warranty? take it to dealer for repair.
