Wink Back to the Future....

HOtrainman:wav: , it looks like your really making some progress

************************************************** ***
Back to the Future....(A mini Roll-By)
Well the Rock Valley Sub has been back dated to 69-79, but every so often it goes "Back to the Future":eeki: :119: (here and now:winki: ).

7:15AM this morning, "Big ED"(the Subs crew chief), called me up and told me to be on the outskirts of town by track #3 around 8:30AM:winki: . seems the Rock Valley Sub was in need of some BIG power, so Big ED called Proviso yard in Chicago requesting a few units:winki:, he wasn't sure what was coming, but gave me the "heads up" . sure as heck, at 8:47AM seven units, ALL GE passed by, and i was lucky enough to get pics!:winki:

the units are:
1- AC6000
2- ES44AC
3- AC4400
4- AC4400
5- AC4400
6- Dash-9
7- Dash-8

Deano - FANTASTIC looking engines

My favs are the AC6000, ES44AC, and the first AC4400 (grey unit)

Is that ES44AC the Tower 55 Unit?

Josh, the Tower55 ES44AC(see pic below) runs GREAT! it runs smooth, crawls, good lighting effects, and the sound is good . they come with a Digitraxx sound decoder, which is OK, but honestly, i like the QSI sound decoder in the AC6000 BETTER:winki: . the QSI sound decoder in the AC6000 does EVERYTHING the Digitraxx does in the ES44AC, but the sound in the QSI is SPOT ON! .

Deano - AWESOME shot of the ES44AC!!!

Tomkat - Thats cool, I like the weathering and the way she shots show the switcher backing up slowly to couple to the gondola

Steve - WHOA!!! That is an OUTSTOUNDING shot!!!!!!!!!!!! The detail in the cliff walls are just AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL. I almost wish I was in that boat just so I could see that close up
