Robin,
When my time comes to cross that white shore and walk in that far green country into a rising sun, I will look for you, my friend.
Until then, it is this world where I must walk, with grief in my heart, and a void in my life, left there by the passing of a good man. The grief will come to strengthen my faith, and the void will be filled with memories of who you were, and what you accomplished.
My wish for Letty, Cindy, Kim, and all who were close, is for the pain of the grief to pass quickly, that your faith be stronger for the pain, and, that your void be filled with only the brightest, and happiest memories.
Pete

I like everyone else here will truly miss Robin.
With his passing we not only lost a great man, but a great artist and model railroader.
Robin was one of the unsung masters of our hobby.

Rest well my friend.

As it has been said many times, this was not unexpected, butnone the less unwanted news, Robin will leave a vast void in many peoples lives. Not only in his close family, Letty, Cindy, and kim, but a vast void in the lives of all who new him, or his work.
He was a man that touched many lives, of people he hadnt even met, for his modleing spoke in a universal language, of model railroading, in my time on the gauge I can say that I have not heard one negative coment from , or about Robin, he was a true gentleman, and artist... If I could speak to Robin, at this time, I would say go with god, my friend, and go in peace, for you have made yourself a place there with your kindness, your generosity, your love, and your guiding hand, sleep well, for all is done now.......steve

Some will notice, that we have started changing our Avatars, to add a bit of black, or Matthyro's logo in it.

This is a tribute akin to the everyday heros (Police & Firefighters) that honor their brothers that have passed on. We thought it a nice tribute that whoever wants to change their avatar, can. This is not mandatory, it's on a volunteer basis only...

We are going to leave them this way for 2 weeks, changing them back November 1st.

If you would join us - we will all honor the passing of a good friend and a graet model railroad structure designer..... Robin (Matthyro)

If anyone needs me to, I can edit it for you & then you can upload it to The Gauge

~~ Thanks.....
