I stumbled across this photo on eBay. This is a shot of my hometown station in Hawthorne, NJ in the early '60s, just after the Erie & DL&W merged to form the Erie-Lackawanna. That Alco RS is still pretty clean and is pulling the usual string of Stillwell coaches.
