Wroclaw, PL Paper Model EXPO 2012

I participated in this years Wroclaw,Pl. Paper Model EXPO.
This was the first EXPO that I have ever participated in. I met quite a few people thee, I GREATLY enjoyed myself, and I had fun as well.
I even walked away with a trophy (for best model in the Sci-Fi category with the Lens Head Robot) and a certificate of participation (for having the most models in a single category, 17 models in all).

There was a little bit of everything there.

There was Yoda

There were a variety of different military models, everything from ships to planes (and everything in between, mostly World War II though).

Needles to say there was a little bit of everything there.
I am GREATLY looking forward to next year's EXPO.

I wish so bad much that this hobby was at the level you see in my area. It would be so good to see people come together like this, and great to see these models.

If I remember, you had made mention that you wanted to start a paper-model club in your town (or area).
Why not start it and also start your own EXPO as well.

If you have a sci-fi convention in (or near) your town, you could use that to promote it as well display them there.
