http://www.flickr.com/photos/53243414@N00. The Addy will take you to my Flickr site where photos of my cars are. I've built four eight axle and one six axle cars. I also have done several smaller cars. All are built from prototype car drawings and photos Take a look and I hope you enjoy.Bobby |

Wow!! Those are incredible!! They look like photographs of the full size thing! It would be great to see one of these being built in a build thread. You could pass a lot of knowledge on. Really excellent workmanship. I took a look and yes, I did enjoy, very much!

I just went through your gallery and was totally blown away by what I saw. Your work is PHENAMINAL!!! (Like Zathros said) some of these look like you have taken photos of the "REAL thing". They do not look like models at all.
I agree with Zathros, It would (indeed) be great to see a build thread of one of these being built. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you enjoyed my efforts. I wish I could do a build article, but I don't have the ability.

It is really quite simple. All you do is take photos of your progress as you build your model. Post the photos with (or without) commentary (either above, below, or in the photos them selves) that explains want you have built thus far. Good luck with it. If you need help, you can send me a PM and I will do what I can to help.

I'm, 55, and I would be more than happy to take you through the steps necessary to do anything you wish. I also build computers. Anyone who has the talent to scratch build cars as fine as yours can work a computer. People can make computers seem harder than they are if they aren't patient. The pictures you posted we excellent. Better than man people who post here. So your 99% there already! .
If you ever need help, you will find many people here more than Happy to help you out. On the other hand, we're Happy to have you here and appreciate seeing your work. That's alone is fine enough for me. ![]() |

Stick around, and check out what everyone else is doing. With experience like yours, you can offer much, and people here are no too proud to take a suggestion. Actually, this forum is great for getting ideas only because there are those who offer them.

I am jumping in late and your work is phenomenal, It looks like scrath buit with styrene and pvc tubes used in the building. Regardless, the railroaders here would appreciate your tricks of the trade in how you constructed them. By the way, I did not jump to your introductions so I will wish you a welcome aboard here in this thread, also feel at home here, I know you will like it here and by the way again, I am 62 and love model building and scratch building and eventually I will gravitate towards railroading some time in the future, since it is one of the areas I have not touched upon . Enjoy and see you around the forum.
