The Posting of Models

Posting models you have not built nor has any one else will not be approved. There are people who do this and this has caused great problems, recently in this forum. It is not allowed.

Ink is expensive, it is only right that someone knows the model has not been built.

We have had issues in the recent past where people have uploaded unbuildable models. Build threads are necessary, or something really close, that proves the model can be built, that the bugs are worked out, This only makes sense. Also, please assure that it is a model worthy of someone's time, in other words, simple is O.K., but simplistic/sloppy is not the same as simple. You can ask people if they wish to be a Beta builder. You would be surprised how many people will step forward if asked.

I do not want to discourage people trying to learn how to design models. The place to do that is in a thread. In the open. You will get much help, I guarantee you this, and the final model will be yours. Though if you are building a model with the intention to sell it, make sure you state so. Use common sense, be sincere, give what you would expect to receive.

Without pictures and build threads, models will not be approved.
