Is there any such thing? I have converted all my DC engines easily enough using the Electric Railroad converter kits, but i cannot convert the AC ones apparently. Is there a way to change the motors inside to Can Motors? It looks like a big job - or is there a way around the cruise control limitation?
Thanks Howard ps - i got a Northern lionel Steamer thats pretty new with an AC motor and TMCC, and i got the same Northern from MTH that has the DC can motor - The DC is so much more controllable at cruise slow speeds (I converted it to cruise) - the AC motor in the lionel is "sticky" and hard to control - and no cruise. |
