Wodonga station. WOdonga is a "sister city" with Albury. Albury one side of the NSW/Vic border, and Wodonga the other. The Murray River separates the two.

Them rails looks a mite bit rusty!

How much traffic goes through here?

George.

George,

A fair bit of traffic uses this line as these pics are from the main Sydney/Melbourne line. Most traffic is through traffic, so the yards are a little "rusty". From Albury to Melbourne it is dual guage, with Sydney/Melbourne traffic using standard guage and the local or state based traffic using broad guage. As far as usage? Wodonga station would have 10 passenger trains a day. (5 each direction). Seymour would have 16 a day (through traffic plus local commuter (Melbourne/Seymour) traffic that terminates there.
The "rust" took a bit of practice to get right on my layout, but I succeeded I think!

TOOT!
