Toymax firefly rc controller replacement

A totel neophyte here...My son has a great RC car a 27 mhz toymax firefly...he has broken the remote and I am trying to find out if there is a way I can either get a replacement from somehwere or jury rig another 6 channel 27 mhz rc controller to control this vehicle...its a great car that he likes a lot and I am trying to see if I can salvage the#@$% thing...

Any help will be greatly appreciated
