I found that you have to save your pics down to about 640 X 480 for them not to be to big. learned that myself. just so you know, not tring to make a bad comment here, looks great.

For your first attempts, they look very good! Even if they were our second or third attempts, they'd look great. So keep up the good work and keep sharing photos. And if there's anything we can do to help, just holler.

Say "howdy" to everyone in Terre Haute for me. I grew up 30 miles from there (in Casey, Ill.) and spent four lovely (?) years at Indiana State University. Go Fightin' Sycamoes!

And I will add this -- I have traveled far and wide and I can attest that Square Donuts are THE BEST DONUTS IN THE WORLD.

Kronos,

For being your first attempts, IŽd say they look extremely good! I also built the free Delta 7 1:96 scale Mercury-Redstone model as one of my first models. I also recognise Erik te GroenŽs Mercury capsule - you have done a very good launch escape tower (with red backside printing), by the way.

If youŽre interested in Mercury space craft, take a look at the ongoing "Walter Schirra Memorial Model" thread. There is a new very interesting and super-detailed Mercury capsule with a full interior soon to be released.

Welcome to the forum, too! Enjoy your stay here.

Kronos,
I love your Thor...always one of my fav's... Don't forget that we are working on a "Wally Schirra Memorial Project" on the Real Space section that will allow you to build his "Sigma 7" Mercury capsule....go to that section and view the progress...Carl is about to relase it any day now.....It will be free...and should be awsome!!!

I was just back there in January, Kronos, so I saw the big hole in the ground where the Terre Haute House used to be. It's kind of sad because there is a lot of unusual and historic architecture in Terre Haute. Terre Haute politics have always been peculiar. On the plus side, though, at least it is the birthplace of Eugene Debs. And Tommy John.

While I was in the area, I went down to Simrell's on 7th and played at the open mike, which I think they have since discontinued. (I'm also a songwriter.)

Thanks
As for the escape tower all I did was laminate the tower to a piece of red construction paper let it dry broke out my trusty xacto knife and cut it out
