Our friend Claudio Dias is asking in their site which movie car do you want modeled next?

So, I'm trying to help him with this poll or go to their site: http://www.paperinside.com and tell him.

I voted mad max because as good as ron kemps version is a fully detailed model by caludio would be amazing, especially if he made that silly 'power boost' button thing:-D

Well, my answer would be obvious...if I were "normal"...
I think Claudio would do a great job on the Munster's coach and all others but I would rather wait for Ashrunner to design it. So I voted for Grandpa's Dragula.

MAD MAX! Possibly the best movie of all time (the original mad max - the sequels were kinda iffy) :) the mercury would have been my second choice.

For those of you that may not be familiar with the mad max v8 interceptor here is a site
http://www.madmaxmovies.com/cars/interceptor/history1.html

The v8 interceptor was a 1973 XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe (at least as per that site)

I like the police interceptor too - thats the yellow one in the movie. As I recall the police interceptor was an AMC

I've not actually worked on a car model as yet, but I definitely would do the Mad Max car!

I just did some more "research" and they look like they were the same type of car.

I swear I saw AMC on one of those bad boys though. I am gonna have to watch it again!

How about the Interceptor from The Wraith staring Charlie Sheen?

That was a pretty cool car!

Yeah I was actually thinking about that car too. I was'nt sure how many people would recognize it. It would be a hell of project considering the curves.

It was apparently a 1984 Dodge-PPG Twin Turbo M4S Prototype.

My favorite movie car is the Lotus Esprit from " the spy who loved me".
I also like the car from Black Moon Rising. And "Christine" from Christine.

Kind regards

The Lotus & Elanor would be awesome if there was a nicely detailed model out there. It would be a must have on my list!

RMJ if you're referring to Steveo's picture, it's the Wraith car from the move The Wraith, not Mad Max's vehicle.

XYBERZ, I was referring to the pictures of the mad max car
in the link by CGUTZMER in message 6.
I just thought it would be helpful to see what the others were
before I voted, but time is running out.

Cools Links! Barris = Genius! I had completely forgot about the Monkees car until I looked at this link. Man, I loved the Monkees (got a bunch of their tunes on MP3's even!)

Thanks!

Thanks for the links, Chris.
I found some info at Stallone's site but no Pix.
Sound's like it was a car he owned and they had
to fabricate others to use in the movie.

Another cool car I would like to see is Nemo's sixwheeled car from league of extraordinary Gentlemen:
See attachment.

I is probably a hard challenge, due to the intricate ornamentation but I am confident Claudio would be able to overcome it.

Kind regards

I would definitely like to see 007's Lotus. As far as Nemo's car... well, I think I'd have an aneursym building all the delicate ornamentation...
And I am embarassed to say I have never seen "Mad Max". (I imagine I'll get hate mail for saying that!)

Good one Stev0 saves me looking for my links for that model. I remembered I had gotten one from some where was looking through my display cabinet to see if I still had it so I could get the site name. (I usually write the site name and modeler on the bottom if they don't have it listed on the model.) Makes it easier to tell people where to get them when they ask me.

Also I have a strated project for Nemos Nautalus (Sword of the Sea, as it was also named in League of Extraordinary Gentelman), on my pc but ran into some issues with the ornamentation on the sides of it and the Nautaloid as well. But If I can figure out this Rhino program that should take care of it nicely as well as my GT-90 and SDF-1. Still learning rhino right now so maybe a little while yet. Hey if I get these other three models done and come out nicley enough I just may tackle that six wheeler myself. I thought it, as well as the Nautalus, where part of what made the movie worthy.

Very cool, the Last V8 Interceptor. I had put in a pitch for this earlier when Claudio asked for ideas/input.

However, the Munster Coach and Dragula would be very welcome if done in the future.

Now I just need to get to building some stuff.

Best,
Tom

You are really starting to scare me because I share a high interest in these projects myself. The only difference is that just now I have put my foot down to not chip away at several projects and instead I am now forcing myself to choose, gather info, start, work and finish a single project. There are some projects in various stages of completion so I am just going to square away those and then hopefully I can open up new projects.

Well they say great minds think alike. But, I seem to have no conrtol like some of the other modelers/designers. I work on building designing and reviewing models all at the same time. I can never just settle on one thing at a time I get bored otherwise.

Another vote for the Munsters Coach.
