There are many,many links to this art. Just go to google and type " papercut" it took me all day to browse but I was completely blown away...
AND this art is well over 1000 years old...I'm not sure...how old is paper?

Depends what you call paper - woven papyrus in Egypt was known from 3000 BCE. Peper from wood pulp is a Chinese invention from about 200 BCE.

The paper sculptures are amazing.
