how do you make the plans for vehicule

hello, i want to build the battlefortress for the ork. i want to make a plan that ressemble the eli patoroch files.
how do you do it. do i take the picture from the book and make templates or there is a another method.

Study the models you build. The techniques are what you follow. Software is involved, how good are your computer skills? This can all be done without a computer too, but takes a bit longer, and is harder to offer up. Build basic shapes first. All complicated models are made from basic shapes.
